How to get a medical marijuana card in kentucky:

Patients are now able to apply for their Kentucky Cannabis Card!

To get a medical marijuana card in Kentucky, you must have a qualifying condition, have a physician evaluation, and register with the state program.

We make the process easy and affordable.

To apply for your Kentucky Cannabis Card for entry into a Kentucky dispensary, patients must first have an in office visit with one of our doctors to be registered into the Kentucky Patient Registry Portal.

The next step is the patient application process to be approved by the state and receive your Dispensary ID Card. So now is the time to get started as the dispensaries are beginning to open!  Most dispensaries will be having awesome Grand Openings so you want to be ready to be able to enjoy those.

We will help you with the process of obtaining your Kentucky Cannabis Card every step of the way.  With your Kentucky Cannabis Card, you will be able to shop at any Kentucky Medical Marijuana Dispensary.  However, until a dispensary opens near you, you can also shop at any out of state dispensary, such as in Ohio, Virginia or Michigan, but you need to have your Kentucky Dispensary ID Card for legal protection.  Some out of state dispensaries do allow discounts if you have the official Kentucky Cannabis ID Card.

IMPORTANT:  If you already have your Dispensary ID Card from the state, it may be time to renew.  Check the expiration date of your Written Certification on your Team Kentucky Website Portal. Don't let that expire.  You need to renew with Cannabis Connection before that date.   If your Written Certification expires, your card will become deactivated and you are not an active patient in the program as well as having no legal protection.  This is a complicated issue to fix.

We offer telehealth calls to renew for Cannabis Connection established patients and in office visits for patients who went to a different doctor previously.
